The Clarkson School (TCS) offers a rich and supportive learning environment for highly motivated high school students. Unlike most early-entrance college programs, The Clarkson School is a full-time residential program offering a real community living and learning experience. Clarkson School students take the same courses as Clarkson University first-year students and enjoy the same unlimited access to athletics and recreation, student support services, and clubs and activities.

TCS boasts a diverse student body, with 60% hailing from New York state and 40% from across the U.S. and all around the globe. Admission is selective, most Clarkson School students are in the top 10% of their high school class and enroll with a mean SAT (math and verbal) score of 1210.
What to Expect from The Clarkson School
Attending The Clarkson School is not unlike being a first-year student at Clarkson University. You will take a full course load and have the opportunity to join student clubs, academic and social organizations, and sports teams. As opposed to the typical Clarkson University Freshman experiencce, Clarkson School students live in their own residence hall with a dedicated staff of house advisors (HAs). This extra layer of support ensures that Clarkson School students make a smooth transition to college life.
