KIMRON WILSON '11
Engineering & Management
New York, N.Y.
Where is Kimron's favorite place on campus? Who are his heroes? Why did he choose Clarkson?
We caught up with Kimron to find the answers to these questions and more. Check it out!
Life at Clarkson
Clarkson's enterprising community is at the center of a dynamic environment where the lines between learning and recreation blur. Our students are multidimensional, merging academics and extracurricular activities to maximize both personal and professional growth. The physics principle you learned in a morning class? Well, that might come in handy while descending into a cave later that afternoon. The competition you experience in your intramural game? It’s not unlike the competition you will face in your future.
Off campus, students can take advantage of Clarkson’s location at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains and the six-million-acre Adirondack Park. The setting lends itself to countless recreational activities from hiking on our own 640-acre campus to ski runs down Whiteface Mountain in nearby Lake Placid, N.Y. Clarkson’s small town ambiance is charming and offers myriad opportunities for community involvement. We are also an easy drive from Ottawa and Montreal, where urban culture and amenities await you.
In this electrified, highly interactive atmosphere, no obstacle is too big, every challenge is embraced, and a profusion of ideas flow freely. Because of the close relationships we share, our work is rewarding — our play productive.
