MBA Student Career Resources
Welcome to YOUR Campaign
Welcome to MBA Career Services. This site has been created to support you on your aggressive campaign to launch a career after completion of the MBA program. You are an MBA student now, it's time to get focused. The care-free whimsy of undergraduate life has come to an end and now the game begins. There is no denying it; you are about to enter one of the toughest job markets our country has seen in decades and you need to be prepared. Your career search begins today. This site will host valuable career search information, inside job postings we hear from faculty and/or company representatives, and important career services dates for such activities as workshops with professional speakers, networking events, and coaching sessions.
Your Career Search Begins TODAY!
The MBA office is committed to assisting you with all of the facets of finding a career, from resume and cover letter building, to networking and job/company research, to interviewing and accepting an offer. Not unlike a political campaign for office, you will need to develop a personal brand and sell yourself on the job market, and we hope to make you best prepared to do that. This being said, this is YOUR career search and much of the commitment and effort needs to come from you. As a good rule of thumb, you should plan on a ratio of 1 to 2. For every hour we spend with you providing career coaching, 2 hours should be spent on your own independet efforts outside of the MBA office. We can give you the tools, however it is up to YOU to use them. Danielle McAuliffe will be available to you for one-on-one career coaching sessions by appointment only, and Mike Walsh will be available when Danielle is absent. Please use the contact information available here to set up an appointment.
YOU are ultimately Responsible for Your Career
